Chema entertained some 80 alumni and friends with a special VIP tour of Progressive Field. Chema was executive director of Gateway Economic Development Corporation when they built Cleveland’s Progressive Field – a fact which made this behind-the-scenes event possible. The event functioned as an open house, where visitors could attend sample courses, receive financial aid consultation, have their transcripts reviewed and network with others. Juliano Inducted into OFIC Board of Trustees Vice-Chair Elizabeth Juliano ’84 has been inducted into the Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges (OFIC) Hall of Excellence, which since 1987 has honored alumni of member colleges. ACS Praises Shreiner, Students, Chem Club The American Chemical Society praised Assistant Professor of Chemistry Carol Shreiner and the Hiram College Chemistry Club (a club open to all students, regardless of major).
