A Trifecta of Honors Hiram Students Outperform Standardized Test Predictions Hiram ranked 15th on the Postsecondary Education OPPORTUNITY newsletter’s list of Best Performing National Liberal Arts Colleges: Actual versus Predicted Institutional Graduation Rates. This shows that Hiram students perform much better than predicted by their ACT scores. Hiram Ranks 9th in Social Mobility According to “Washington Monthly,” Hiram ranks 9th out of 249 liberal arts colleges in the social mobility of its students, a statistic based on the percentage of students receiving Pell Grants and the predicted graduation rate versus the actual graduation rate. Hiram Among Best in the Midwest Hiram is among 153 colleges to receive the “Best in the Midwest” title from the “Princeton Review,” which spotlights only the top 25% of excellent colleges in the United States. Rated on a scale of 60-99 points, Hiram received an 84 for academics, a 76 for admissions selectivity and a 73 for campus life. Student comments gathered by the Review boasted Hiram’s close-knit student-faculty relationship, unique academic calendar and small class sizes. 4 HIRAM MAGAZINE
