Delta Gamma Winter 2009 : Page 2

You’re part of it. (Now pass it on!) Our circle of sisters is more than 200,000 strong. What keeps it going? You. Delta Gamma is a leader in the Greek world, thanks to our members’ lifelong commitment. Did you know dues payments are the primary source of income for the Fraternity? For alumnae, per capita dues are $20.50—a small price for the many benefits of passing our sisterhood onto the next generation. Many sisters don’t realize the importance of supporting the Fraternity in this way, but it is vital to our existence! So, gather a few DGs and circle up. Recite the Oath of Friendship if you’re so inclined! Just look around and pass it on ... Alumnae, please pay your dues. FAQ “I graduated. How long am I supposed to pay dues?” At Initiation, we all promised to support the Fraternity for our first 50 years as members. Simply put, DG needs your dues payments to exist! With the ANCHORA, new chapters (as well as current ones), Web initiatives, Convention and other seminars, and much more, we make sure your $20 50 does a great deal! “I paid my local alumnae group dues. Was that different?” Yes. Local dues support local efforts, another important facet of our organization! Per capita dues fund Fraternity-wide initiatives, and you can pay them two ways. You can make a secure payment online (www.deltagamma.org), or you can mail a check to Delta Gamma Fraternity, 3250 Riverside Dr , Columbus, OH 43221-0397. “I sent a donation to the Foundation. Isn’t that the same thing?” No. The Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Delta Gamma. Donations to the Foundation’s Loyalty Fund are voluntary and tax-deductible, supporting programs like scholarships, Service for Sight grants and more. The Fraternity relies on its members’ annual support. Thank you! Pictured: Beta Beta-Alberta collegians
